Lacco Ameno

A large river root whose unusual shapes reminded the artist of the famous "mushroom" rock of Lacco Ameno on the island of Ischia. The piece is circular, and every nook has been used to recreate the journey towards the Nativity. All 19 figures are made and painted by hand by the artist; the piece also has lights.
